Architectural and space-planning solutions

A two-story electrical substation (PS) building with a basement was designed. The dimensions of the building in the axes are 34,5 x 36,0 m. The height from the ground level to the top of the parapet of two protruding staircases and technical rooms is 13,45 m. The height of the middle part of the building is 9,75 m. The building is a frame building with self-supporting brick walls with an outer layer of facing bricks and hinged sandwich panels with factory coloring. The coating is flat, combined, with internal drains. The roof is rolled. Window blocks - metal-plastic profiles with double-glazed windows. External doors and gates, fire doors - steel. Canopies are provided above the entrances to the building. In the basement are designed: cable rooms, water metering unit. The basement floor has three exits through independent staircases directly to the outside. Two stairwells type 1 connect the 1st, 2nd floor and the roof. On the ground floor, transformer chambers T1 and T2, indoor switchgear 110 kV and indoor switchgear 10 kV, DGK rooms, technological rooms, a dressing room and a repair team room, a bathroom, ventilation chambers are designed. Rooms T1 and T2 are three-light. On the second floor there are exhaust ventilation chambers, accumulators with a ventilation chamber, technological rooms, a room for the duty officer, a technical archive, a room for security and fire communications, a dining room for the repair team, and a bathroom. The substation is operated without a permanent presence of personnel. Interior decoration is provided in accordance with the PUE. The technological process in the PS does not provide for the organization of access to the MGN building for the disabled. The project documentation provides for the fencing of the territory with a gate and a gate from the side of Timurovskaya street.

Structural and space-planning solutions

PS building. Building responsibility level – II. The building was designed according to a mixed constructive scheme. The load-bearing walls of the basement and above-ground floors are monolithic reinforced concrete 200350mm thick. Wall concrete B25. Columns - monolithic reinforced concrete with a section of 400x400 mm. The pitch of the columns is variable, the main pitch is 6,0x6,0 m. The concrete of the columns is B25. Beams - monolithic reinforced concrete with a height of 6001000 mm. Concrete B25. Ceilings and roofing - monolithic reinforced concrete slabs 200 mm thick. Concrete class B25. External walls - prefabricated three-layer sandwich panels with internal effective insulation 120 mm thick and brick 510 mm thick. The walls are designed from ceramic hollow bricks of the M150 brand on the M75 mortar. Internal partitions - from ceramic hollow bricks of the M150 brand on the M75 mortar, 120380mm thick. Stairs - prefabricated reinforced concrete steps on steel stringers. Spatial rigidity is ensured by the joint work of columns, transverse and longitudinal stiffening diaphragms (walls), combined into a single spatial system by disks of interfloor floors. The load-bearing structures were calculated using the SCAD 11.5 software package. Pile foundations. Piles - driven prefabricated reinforced concrete section 35x35 cm, length 12 and 14 m, made according to series 1.011.1-10, issue. 1. Absolute elevation of the pile tip +9.15. There is an existing pile field at the construction site. In accordance with the technical survey performed by GRAST LLC in 2011, the existing pile field was made of C120x35-10 piles according to series 1.011.1-10. The technical condition of the pile field is operational. In accordance with the static tests of soils with piles, performed by BEiSPR LLC in 2011, the allowable design load on the pile is 40 tf. The design load on the pile is assumed to be 39,7 tf, the force in the piles is not more than 30,3 tf. Grillage - slab of monolithic reinforced concrete 600 mm thick, concrete class B25, W6, F100. Pairing of piles and grillage is rigid. The mark corresponding to the absolute mark of +0,000 m was taken as the mark of 25.0. In accordance with the report on engineering and geological surveys of LenTISIZ CJSC (reg. No. 2096/1) of 2011, plastic sandy loam with e=0,416, IL=0,54, φ=240, E=110kg/cm2 and plastic sandy loam with e=0,338, IL=0,13, φ=220, E=140kg/cm2. The project provides for measures to protect the basement from groundwater: the use of low-permeability concrete of grade W6, waterproofing with Voltex bentonite slabs. The expected design precipitation is no more than 4 cm, which is less than the maximum allowable. Foundation calculations were made manually according to the SNiP formulas and using the SCAD program. The substation building is designed outside the zone of influence on the existing development. Sump. The oil collector is a 40 m3 tank designed from monolithic reinforced concrete with a flat bottom, underground installation, located at a depth of 4,34 m. The thickness of the walls, floors and bottoms is 200 mm. Monolithic structures of the tank are made of concrete B15, W6, F100. Under the bottom of the tank, concrete preparation 100 mm thick is provided for crushed stone preparation 300 mm thick and sand preparation 1000 mm thick. The base of the sand cushion is fluid sandy loam e=0,675, φ=190, E=70 kg/cm2. Estimated soil resistance of the base R=2,7 kg/cm2, ground pressure not more than p=0,72 kg/cm2. The design documentation provides for external waterproofing with Voltex bentonite slabs, internal waterproofing with epoxy-slate composition based on epoxy resins ED-20 in accordance with GOST 10587-84. Substation area fencing. The fencing (fence) of the substation is designed as metal, prefabricated, 2m high. Fencing posts are installed on glass-type foundations made of monolithic reinforced concrete. Concrete B15, W6, F100. Under the foundations, crushed stone preparation 100 mm thick on a sand cushion 450 mm thick is provided. The basis of the foundations are dusty dense sands e=0,55, φ=350, E=300kg/cm2. The design soil resistance of the base is R=1,7kg/cm2, the pressure on the soil does not exceed the design resistance. Power line supports. Modified standard anchor-angle support U110-2+5 according to series 3.407-68_73. The modification consists in the device of an additional console for the installation of couplings. The metal structures of the supports are designed from steel C345. The calculation of the modified support was made on a computer in the SCAD program. Foundations - mushroom-shaped reinforced concrete footings F6-Am with hinged slabs according to series 3.407-115. Concrete B30, W8, F200. The foundations rest on a cushion of coarse sand 1900 mm thick. Estimated soil resistance of the base R=4,49 kg/cm2, average pressure on the soil p=0,8 kg/cm2.
