Constructive decisions

The projected object is located in the city center. The embankment was created in 1901-1903 simultaneously with the construction of the bridge. The embankment included four descents to the water, including a semicircular descent from rubble masonry lined with granite. At the base of the embankment and the descent there is a massive concrete grillage, under the grillage there is a pile field. The wall of the embankment is made of rubble masonry, the granite stone of the embankment facing is laid in a dressing with rubble masonry. The parapet is mounted on a cordon stone, the front surface of which is treated with a semi-oval. The sidewalk is paved with granite slabs. The base of the descent is made of rubble masonry. The steps of the descent are made of granite stone. The granite parapet along the steps is a continuation of the embankment parapet. Under the influence of unfavorable factors on granite elements (dynamic loads from transport, washing out of wall material through the seams of the cladding, fluctuations in water levels, corrosion destruction of pyrons connecting granite blocks, fluctuations in air temperature), the distance between the blocks in the seams in places decreased so much that destruction and chipping occurred solution, and in other areas increased to 5 cm or more, which led to the loss of suture material, subsidence of granite blocks, their deviation vertically and in plan. Due to the displacement of elements and the destruction of the seams, the descent and the embankment acquired an untidy appearance. The design and architectural appearance of the embankment and the descent remain unchanged after the repair work. The slope is for pedestrians. In accordance with the addition to the assignment, the project does not provide for devices for the movement of disabled people down the stairs. Devices for mooring ships on the descent are not provided. To restore the facility, it is planned to dismantle and reinstall all granite elements in place after they have been cleaned and repaired at a designated construction site. Lost granite elements will be restored, substandard - replaced. It is planned to dismantle the damaged metal railings, instead of them, to manufacture and install posts, handrails and consoles for attaching the handrails to the parapet on both sides of the descent. The base of the embankment and the descent is strengthened by injecting the TsMID-2P solution. Injection wells are located along the parapet in two rows, the distance between rows is 0,5 m. The distance between wells in each row is 1,0 m. Wells of the first row inject rubble masonry. The wells of the second row inject rubble masonry, decompacted backfill soil and concrete grillage. To absorb tensile stresses at the base of the rubble masonry, reinforcing bars are installed in the wells. In order to avoid rising groundwater levels in front of the wall, the voids in which will be filled with injection mortar, vertical drainage is arranged under the slabs. The drains pass through the bulk soil of the backfill into a layer of coarse-grained sand, which is a natural drainage. The drains are located under the granite slabs of the sidewalk with a step of 5 m. The mouths of the drains are covered with Taipar geotextile material in two layers to protect against clogging. Granite cleaning and restoration work is carried out at the construction site, where granite elements are transported after marking. Upon completion of the restoration work, the stones are installed on historical sites. Field installation is carried out on stainless steel pyrones after preliminary fixing of their location.
